1. What are the learning styles?
-Learning styles are the way people learn. The different learning styles are spatial, auditory, linguistic, kinesthetic, mathematical, interpersonal and intrapersonal. You may be more than just one type of learner.
2.How can awareness of learning styles improve performance in a learning environment?
-If you want to have a successful learning environment then you have to be able to instruct in ways that are going to cover all of your learners. Not everyone learns the same way so you need to have different techniques in teaching.
3. Does any of this matter?
- I think that it matters because a student may not be interested or understand if they are a kinesthetic learner and all you do is talk (auditory). I think it is important to try and cover all types of learning styles.
